Umi Zafwa and Alex are married. Alex converted to Islam, just to pass the condition. Although they were married couple, Alex never treat Umi Zafwa as his wife. Their did not sleep in the bedroom together. What unexpected Alex forced her to sleep at balcony. There's no rooftop to protect from rain. There's no pillow, no blanket and no sleeping pad. Just herself with cold floor, windy, rainy and shabby bag from her late mother.
Alex always giving orders to do everything in the house without thinking about her baby. She only ate once a day, even it's on late at night. She never complain about it. She just show her cool and calm face every time Alex do bad thing to her. She's really patient and strong through all this and that's really make Alex feel bad. Deep down in his heart, Alex know her wife is strong woman and he feel sorry about what he had done. He know he was wrong. And he hate that feelings. The more he felt sorry to her, the more Alex want to hurt and hurt Umi Zafwa.
One day, Alex take his girlfriend home. The woman his late mother want to make it, Katherina. She's has beautiful body and sexy compare to her. Day by day their relationship became intimated. Alex just want to show his romance with girlfriend in front of his wife just to hurt her more. Even Umi Zafwa did not feel 'love' to her husband but as a wife no one will accept what has happened on her own eyes. No wife will accepted cheating husband. Alex know Umi Zafwa don't like what he does and he satisfied with that and want to do more than this.
Three days Alex did not give her meal. She suffer and feeling tired so much until she have headache and she's faint. When she wake up, "Astaghfirullah.." She saw shocking situation is beyond reason in front of her own eyes. What the worst is Alex do sex with Katherina and tied up her on chair besides their bed. That's so horrible. She crying over that. She's really heartbroken of what Alex non forge to do and what more than that, she saw Kath's belly just like her. She's pregnant. What the different is Kath's belly is more healthy and big than her is just small because she didn't get enough nutrition and food.
"I know, you might feel lonely. Here.. I bought you a 'friend'."
"I'm with Katherina. You with black. Fair, right?"
Alex bought a big and black dog to Umi Zafwa. That dogs look 'wild' just like police dogs. She pray to Allah, 'La ilaha illa anta, subhanaka inni kuntu minazzhalimin..' to protect her from attacked. And that dog release the rope that attached to her arm. With a new spirit she got, she trying to escape from that hell house. She realize there's no way Alex gonna changed. Alex is crazy. Too crazy too handle. She know Alex just can't accept the fate his parents dead but she had done of all this. She don't want to getting hurt anymore. That's all enough. She have to protect her baby. And she did.
Unfortunately, her baby was sick and suffer from heart defect. She did not have money to make a surgery. She have nothing. Unless, her crazy husband willing to help her. Did he?
Jason comes and want to help her to redeem his mistakes before. He know his fault by letting his good and kind friend to someone because of money. Now, he want to protect her from her crazy husband. He know Umi Zafwa suffered all the time and unhappy with the marriage. He also want to take care her child.
"No, Jason. Give back my baby to her real father."
When Umi Zafwa not around, Alex feel something different. "It's not like I'm missing her." He deny it. Maybe there's no one he want to 'play'. He admit only his wife willing to do anything for him. Only his wife not against his order. He also start to feel bored with his girlfriend. He kept delay their wedding date. One night, after his arguing with Kath about their wedding date the next day he got a news his girlfriend was killed in the hotel they were stayed. He was in shocked. And he the one that be blamed by the evidence police and hotels management got in CCTV.
"It's not my fault! I'm not kill her! You have to save me!"
Umi Zafwa make a deal with Alex. If Alex want to stay alive and don't want to get in jailed he must promised to protect her child, give her child a good knowledge and lessons, tell her child about Islam and make her child a good person in future. She don't have any choice. Only Alex she can think to save her child live.
"I'm sorry, baby. Mama love you so much."
